Is it possible for us to share files through TBR? Kind of like kazza but just for us. What would we need to do this? Web space?

Web Space... ability to upload and download... Larry could EASILY set up an FTP server... then we could get clients to access it... only prob is that it'll need to be kept private because if just ANYONE had access they could stick a virus or 2 on the server... reopen the Private board and that can be one of the perks to paying... plus when you pay Larry gets enough info on you to track your ass down if you fuck with the server

thats what I was thinking. It would definatley be password protected and I would say members would have to be 'known' around here before being allowed to dl.

Questions---I got a wbepage with a couple hundred Megs on it and can buy more fairly cheap. It can be password only .How big would it have to be ? Would zipping the files save room?

    Answer my questions.

zipping would save some some room but we need a pretty large amount of space to share software. Maybe make some downloads available for a week at a time.

server performance would suffer by adding and deleting adding and deleting... we need to be able to leave the files there for long periods... just adding is fine but image the fragmentation constant removal and readding of large files would cause
