vp, I hate to break the news to you, but I was accepted to unc-chapel hill. I was also accepted to Wake. I chose Charlotte & have NEVER regretted that decision.

Now, let's talk about whiners. unc-chapel hill fans wrote the damn book on whining. Terry Hlland named his dog "Dean Smith" because the dog whined all the time. The word "whine" was patented by the crybabies at unc-chapel hill. chapel hill fans have now become more diversified. tarhole fans are now not only whiners, but total dumbasses as well. Oh, I forgot....You have also cornered the market on the term OBNOXIOUS as well. The "porcupine joke" was originally concocted in the early 80's about chapel hill fans "The dean dome has the 20,000 pricks on the outside".

Seriously, I don't particularly care about where you were accepted - or where or why you chose to go somewhere else. You guys have made this an issue by continuously implying that no UNC fans went to UNC. I am and I did.

which is still such horseshit. I was thinking about this yesterday. my kids are UNC fans because I'm a UNC fan. My daugter is 12 and talks smack to all the other kids that are state or dook fans just like I did when I was in 7th grade. I hope she stays a UNC fan for life.

Of course it will be her right to become a fan of whoever she wants especially if its another college she attends.

But I think its pathetic that somebody like metro goes from being a childhood fan of UNC to making it his lifelong mission to trash the school and it's athletic programs just because he went to UNCC. same for the oldman who thought enough of UNC-CH to apply for admission there ( they don't accept you if you don't apply) but now can't think of anything to say good about that same school he applied to. and why? just because UNC has a better basketball team and A football team and a better overall athletics program in general.

the reasons for hatin' are pathetic.

yes I graduated from ASU and they are still MY school and I pull for them EVERY game they play even if it's against UNC. But I still have enough character to be able to pull for my alma mater AND my lifelong team.

It's HP and oldman and metro that spend more time trashing UNC than they do cheering for their own school/team that need help.

You guys just don't get it, do you? 49ers are not the only fans who think the majority of tarhole fans are assholes. Clemson fans think you are. I know Wake fans think you are too, along with fans from every other acc school. So does everyone else. I was at the 2 games in Winston-Salem when dean smith tied & broke the record, but the thing I remember the most about those 2 games is all the out-of-staters making comments about the lack of class displayed by the tarhole fans. A statement often heard is "It's the ones who never attended school there that are the worst".

I hate to break the news to you, but being a tarhole fan does NOT make you a better person, & even more so, NO ONE GIVES A DAMN!

 

LMAO, since no one gives a damn then how come all those people feel the way all those people do in your first paragraph? Most people think that the 4whiners are assholes as well, so guess that makes us even.

Of course that is only people in the Carolinas since nobody out side of those states even knows who you are.

as a child I was a UNC CH fan, however I was naive. As an adult, I learned what arrogant assholes most UNC CH alum are, and how they think Chapel Hill is the center of the universe and how they have ZERO respect for any other universtiy in the country. It has nothing to do with inferiority complex I assure you. I just hate everything UNC CH represents. I don't like fine wine, gooci loafers, and fancy cheese, or people who refuse to act like ordinary citizens instead of elite pricks. Give me an SUV, Coors light, some blue jeans, and some nacho cheese. It is simply two types of people.

wossa, I have no beef with you. you went to App and pull for your alma mater...I have a problem with dopes like the "the brain-fart" who say they would root for the Heels straight up over their alma mater. That is the definition of loser.
