    Yup... makes no fucking sense... he was arguably the best rookie period the second half of the season, if you consider how injury riddled the Bobcats were, and they weren't a "good" team in the first place.

    So at the very LEAST he shoulda been 1st team. Hell look at his stats, he's got better numbers than Deron, yet Deron is ahead of him.

    yep. Felton 4th in scoring, 2nd in assists. Williams 5th in scoring, 4th in assists

    Felton was also Rookie of the Month 3 times.

    Just goes to show you how political the NBA is. There has been talk that he might give Paul a run for rookie of the year! As you said, he won rookie of the month 3 straight times. Bull Shit!!!!!!!!!!!!

    The Bobcats as an organization are not getting the respect from the rest of the league. Remember, Felton didn't even get a chance to go to the All-Rookie game at the All-Star break as well.:banginghe

    I think Paul is better, but Deron Williams isn't.

    As an obviously biased fan who hasn't seen Deron Williams play since the NC game, what possible explanation could there be? Just the fact that he led a team with twice as much talent nearly to the playoffs? I mean, that's really the only thing right?

    Points:

    Felton: 11.9
    Williams: 10.8

    Rebounds:

    F: 3.3
    W: 2.4

    Assists:

    F: 5.6
    W: 4.5

    Steals:

    F: 1.28
    W: .75



    Williams had considerably better 3 point percentage, better 2 point percentage, and a marginally better assist/to ratio. Both played 80 games. I don't know, I just don't see how anyone can justify Williams over Felton. When I saw Raymond made second team all rookie I assumed it was done by position, but with Williams on the first team that clearly isn't the case. The only thing I can see is Utah's 41-41 record, but without Felton the Bobcats wouldn't have won 15 games this year, with all their injuries.

    From what I understand, it is a Coaches poll. Which makes it even harder to understand!
