    It's almost as if they wrote the movies for her instead of casting her in the movies because she had such an odd presence in movies.
    I think they did that alot in the old days but they dunaway with it in the 70's.

    Yes. As Plu said, she had her own presence. Personally I thought she was sexy in a hip/intellectual way. She was great in Bonnie & Clyde too.

    BTW:
    isn't a Dunaway reference; I forget who at the moment, but not Faye.
