Disney had some good show: Frances Marion (Swamp Fox?), a revolutionary war show starring Leslie Neilson; Davy Crockett (and/or Daniel Boone).
Magnum PI, always got a kick out of his laid-back attitude.
I think I'm the only one on the planet that thought the Dukes were to silly to watch. Although I liked that chick's cleavage.

Does anyone remember 77 Sunset Strip w/Ed "Kookie" Byrnes & Efrem Zembalist, Jr.(sp)?
    Wild Kingdom?

There was a show that had Gary Gnu on it doing the news, but I can't remember the name.

Yea some of that stuff does not hold up well now. I think in those days they made shows for kids because there were not 24 hour cartoon channels like they have today.

I watched some westerns too. Gunsmoke, Bonannza, High Chapparal, Lone Ranger, and any old movie with John Wayne in it. I watched that stuff with my dad. The first Lonesome Dove movie came on when I was a teenager and I liked it a lot.

I never realized how much TV I watched growing up until Larry established this forum.

magnum, p.i. (still my favorite of all-time)
    Simon & Simon
    The Dukes of Hazzard
    The Muppet Show
    The A Team
    Police Squad
    Mork & Mindy
    Happy Days
    Laverne & Shirley
    Wild, Wild West
    The Lawrence Welk Show
    Star Trek: The Next Generation
    Battlestar Galactica
    Knight Rider
    Airwolf
    The Incredible Hulk
WKRP in Cincinnati - favorite episode was the one with the state trooper demonstrating drunken reflexes with Fever and Venus.

WCCB in Charlotte had syndicated shows on every night, so I also watched a lot of 'The Jeffersons', 'Good Times', 'Barney Miller', and I think I've seen every episode of 'My Three Sons'. I remember first seeing it when they adopted Ernie (in black and white) and they went all the way through college, marriage, and kids.

Lots of cartoons (there's a shocker): Battle of the Planets, Star Blazers, all the Warner Bros. cartoons, Dungeons & Dragons (did they ever get home without any strings attached?), Thundercats, The Transformers, Tarzan (CBS Saturday morning cartoon), and plenty of others.

Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers Neighborhood, and The Electric Company every afternoon after school.

The Dukes of Hazard was a staple in my TV diet. There is a guy near here that has one of the Chargers used in the show...fucker wants $75K for it or at least he did 5 years ago.

Used to watch Benny Hill re-runs with my grandpa. M*A*S*H, SNL (when it was still funny/pre-90's), A-Team, Grizzly Adams.

A friend of mine used to tape The Tranformers and we go to his house at lunch during HS and raid thier fridge while we watched it. Never really understood why, but the food was free!
