My little sister used to watch all that stuff, it was annoying. I remeber having to put up with Care Bears and Cabbage Patch Dolls too.

God I guess I am just enough older than you to have realized how stupid everyone of those shows were.

I guess I grew up in the age of the old west - Gunsmoke, Bonanza, Rifleman.

Also Sunday nights - The Man from U.N.C.L.E. The Ed Sullivan Show then Mission Impossible.

I remember watching the good old comedies when they were on at night and not re-runs on Nick - Gomer Pyle, Andy Griffith, I Dream of Jeannie, Beverly Hillbillies.

My parents watched all the variety shows -- Carol Burnett, Red Skelton ( both great shows) Flip Wilson, Jackie Gleason, Smothers Brothers, Laugh In etc.

Saturday late nights was always Shock Theatre until Saturday Night Live started - the original SNLs with Belushi, Ackroyd, Chevy Chase, Gilda Radner are still the best ever.
