I have to distinguish my favorite bands chronologically as my tastes have changed.

My first record was "Just a Swingin" and "Don't go breaking my heart" How gay is that.

The first tape I bought was Beastie Boys "License to Ill" That set the stage. Then came the hair metal. Poison, Motley Crue, and Bon Jovi kicked ass.

But I became more serious about music the first time I heard "Master of Puppets' by Metallica. Then came the real metal. Megadeth, Slayer(my favorite band), Pantera, Danzig and Anthrax were my favorites.

Then I mellowed out during the grunge period. Pearl Jam was my thing then and I still think they are awesome.

Currently, there is no good music being made IMO. I listen to a lot of early 80's punk. Bad Religion is my current favorite band.

    Right now I listen to:

    Slayer
    Weezer
    Bad Religion
    2 Skinny J's
    Seven Mary Three
    PennyWise
    The Vandals
    Circle Jerks
    TSOL

Dave's new CD "Coming out of the CLoset" is expected to be a big hit among the gay community.
