    simple answer

YES. If they hear the message of christ, and refuse it, then all thats left is HELL. No man comes to the father but by christ, and not by works lest ye boast.

Why is it so hard to accept? God sent his only son to pay for our sins. That anyone, that would be live in him (jesus) would have ever lasting life, with him (jesus) and not spend eternity in hell. God sent jesus, because god knew that man couldn't live a good enough life, or a sinless life. Accepting CHRIST is a get out of hell free card.

Seek ye first the kingdom of heaven. God doesn't whant anyone to go to hell. The problem is that we live in a world with Satin. Satin was cast to earth, this is his home turf, and as long as we live in satins world we are going to have strife. Every good thing comes from GOD and every bad thing comes from satin. By accepting Christ we have a power over satin to fight sin.

This verse is talking about when the AntiChrist sets up his "kingdom" after the Rapture of The Saints. The Bible says in Revelation that he will require everyone to take his mark, either on their forehead or on their right hand. The delusion comes when the AntiChrist sends it to deceive people into taking it. If one takes the mark, he seals his doom to the lake of fire.

(Rev. 19:20 "And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.)

This has nothing to do with the debate.

To me it means that Jesus by another name is still Jesus. And/or one will have the opportunity to accept Jesus proper at the Pearly Gates or before entering the Kingdom of Heaven(?). [This slightly smacks of elitism, but, so be it.]

Would you prefer a simplier religion? Real things are not simple. If you look at a table it may look rather simple, but if you ask a scientist about it he may break it down by the atoms, how light reflects off the table, etc. (That's from Mere Christianity, by CS Lewis). If you are having trouble understanding the Bible, I would check your resources. You may be talking to the wrong people or seeking the wrong sources. You might have some luck looking at some beginning to understand the Bible type books to help you along the way.

Also those that have problems thinking people will go to hell, God is also a judge. Would you consider someone a good father if their son stole your car and then he rewarded him for stealing it? You as the owner would expect the father to punish his son correct? So why should God allow those that go on leading sinful lives into heaven? God can not be surrounded by sin. When our time is up He will compare us to only one person and that would be Jesus. And since we can't measure up to Him nor can we do enough good works to get into Heaven, we can accept Jesus as our Savior. So really Christianity isn't all that hard.

The Bible says that God loves us so much that while we are yet sinners, that Christ died for us (Romans 5:8). And that there is nothing we can do to earn our way into heaven, it is a free gift, not as a result of works so that no one may boast (Ephesians 2:8-9). If it was based off of works, then we would consider heaven an obligation.

If you believe in the Bible and follow God's Word...that means sharing the gospel with others, you don't particularly need to KNOW everything God does and what happened to those who died previously. That's in His hands, I just need to obey and follow His Word.
