I was at the beach watching.

In defense of his 'fall from stardom', Hankton dropped 2 dead-on drive killing passes.

Other than that, It was like torture watching the wheels fall off in the second half AGAIN.

Peppers chasing down that screen play from behind was very cool.

yep. Hankton didn't really do his job on those two, and if memory's on, I believe those passes were actually thrown controlled and from around the pocket. Still, that works if you're 8 for 13, that doesn't fly as well with 6/17. That he throws a decent ball in the pocket should be a clue.

he also lost a beautiful 20-yard completion on a penalty.

all in all he wasn't bad. does need to settle down in the pocket. looked like he was trying to do a better job of that as the game went on but was getting an awful lot of pressure. nothing really stupid. no signs of the dear-in-the-headlight look. kept his wits and kept fighting. i feel good about him but Weinke is the starter and it will be awhile before anyone is going to consider Fasani for starting. now, i guess we're gonna need to look at Peete next week and see if he can still play.
