Peyton tends to read the defense and then get comfortable with the guy that poses the best option. I do have to believe he's still reading what coverage and still thinking what receiver(s) are the guys that should be the targets, but then he gets comfortable and locks on to that guy.
and some situations you can't look the safety off.
But yeah, it could be a factor on some plays.

The Colts offense is play action based. Hard to throw off that when the run isn’t working. The first pick Peyton forced a bad ball. The second he locked onto and waited to long to throw. Third was a drop.

Fasani should have a good game Sunday. I don't think the Bucs will take him seriously. What they will find is a superior athlete. Yes he will make mistakes. As long as he makes them in the first quarter and not the 4th like his predessors, we'll be ok.

I don't believe he'll be setting out to make less "4th Qtr mistakes" compared to any others. Mistakes are mistakes and when you get to this level it's my assumption that they're all professional enough not to screw up just because the game's about to end.

I don't expect him to do well at the beginning or end. I don't expect we'll score many points, and I do expect it to be an agonizing offensive game. But not because of Fasani in particular. All I can hope is that he's calm, he doesn't let the rush spook him, and that he stand in there as long as he can. A few plays by the feet woudln't hurt, but I'd like to see them from the arm.

It's a no lose situation for him if he doesn't do well. Good defense versus bad offense, first start, and his job's not on the line. Chances are he'd have to really light the world on fire to be considered starter in a three man race given his inexperience, though I'd hope he gets consideration if he's steady and still adds spark.

If we win and have some offensive points he will start after the bye week. There is no logical reason not to based off the roster. If he wins after the bye week, its his job to lose.

Unless he gets one of these mysterious injuries :D, if he wins, he will stay in. Even with a healthy Peete.

I'll buy into that. Anybody who can make magic out of monkeyshit and work a winner out of the wristband can take the helm for Henning.

    Ugh.

I don't want to get in a QB juggling scenerio. Leave that to Spurrier and the Bungles.

I know that Weinke has the concussion, so the Fasani move is being forced before he's ready. At the same time, it doesn't seem Weinke is Fox's guy. If that's the case, at least keep Fasini in until Peete is good and healthy, regardless of his play.
Unless we are talking a total mealtdown, and Wenke is good enough for that. If Fanani can be competent, let him grow.

What is it with the wristband? I've noticed the Winkster look at it as if it were a tear in his jersey. I saw the Randy Man look at it last Sunday like ahh ok, fuck it, I'll just run. :D

Edit: I don't mean this bad, but is that think written in a foriegn language?

I think Henning's playbook is written in brail.

Not making fun at all, but the brail comment was funny.
