A fan reached into the field of play and interferred with the right fielder who had jumped up to catch the deep fly ball. A collision of baseball gloves (fan had a glove) occurred and caused the fielder not to have a chance to catch the ball. The umpires took time to look at it on replays. They still called it a homerun. The umps got the call WRONG twice. It's a simple call - the fan clearly interferred.

I would have to say that was typical Yankee "home field advantage". What's the point of watching the replays if the umps still don't have the guts to get it right?

    I loved

how they said it was up to the ballpark camera angles. They said they might need to put cameras on the foul poles. I might be wrong. But, for the most part the outfield wall is an arc. Not a straight line foul pole to foul pole.

Can't hide that Yankee front office money.
