I've not only been, I took pictures.
I went in Spring 2006 and had a blast. I've been waiting to see the Fall lineup.

It's a nice event - real nice venue, two large stages and a couple of smaller ones, family friendly, activities for the kids, a lot of interesting vendors and plenty of parking. You'll enjoy it.

    thursday:
    donna the buffalo
Oliver Mtukudzi - this Zimbabwean and his band brought the house down! a high energy show with dance moves.
the greencards - also played well but much lower key than Oliver! they promised to practice their dance routine for future shows :)

    Friday:
heard several new bands (to me anyway): menage, strut, kelley and the cowboys, the never, the old ceremony, HuDost. I liked the old ceremony (chapel hill band) and HuDost had a very interesting sound.
later in the evening heard the duhks, toubab krewe.

    Saturday:
another new band (for me): scythian from Washington DC. like Oliver - high energy music and they got the crowd up and moving (even created a mini-dust storm).
the dhks played after sythian; have seen the duhks 2x this year and each time they've played that Whole Lotta Love (Led Zep).

unfortunately i had to leave early Saturday and could not return sunday. so i missed several bands (the waybacks, turtle ducks).

overall good music festival ... and i liked those hand washing stations. check em' out at http://useyerfoot.com/
