    imo, his time is past. or, so what, the falcons or dolphins have a long way to go, why bring in a old timer to bring in old timers. both of those teams need new young guys to get things going.

    I think he is a better fit in that position than head coach. If he takes the job, the Falcons will improve.

    damn.
    Teams are going to try to improve, we can't stop that. I was hoping they were going to go status quo and just hire some young guy and go youth.

    This will undoubtedly improve personnel, and the likelihood they find the right guy. I do hope I'm right that whatever happens, Parcells will meddle and undermine the new coach, and fuck it all up.

    So the Falcons try to get Cowher as head coach, then they hire Parcells as VP. What the hell is going on down there?

    They need some integrity down there. Vick has given them such a bad taste and then players being fined for supporting him. They need some help and fast.
