As I sat watching a documentary the word faith came up. I began to think about the word FAITH. We all had faith that.... etc.. We had faith we would make it.....Now just for kicks change the word faith with " I was betting".

Just in the sense that I had FAITH that "My 2 kings and an ace would beat my my buddies hand."

So in the end we are all betting(faith) or that our(fill in the blank) hand is better or our argument about reality is better than our advisaries.

Pretty silly when you think about it.

Now on the flip side, One who has no faith, well, has no conviction on what they, or those the believe in, are doing is right. (And in this case faith should not be constued as only religious.) Faith in an idea or person in everyday life is important as well.

The word faith is a complex word. The word is easily manipulated.

    Just a thought.:twocents:

And a very interesting thought, too :)

A combination of 2 things that fascinate me: philosophical concepts, & language.

You can have faith in anything, and probably do, it is where you place your faith that matters.

It's a tough pill to swallow, but I think I'll be able to manage it.
