Those are apples and oranges. People who listen to talk radio do so because they are interested in politics. Joe Schmo out on the street who goes to see Moore's propoganda thinks it is the truth and has no basis to judge it.

Of course. When Joe Schmoe just happens to turn on the radio he is well-informed. The cool thing is how well informed Joe becomes even though the radio is pretty much free and requires no effort to go like going to the movies does. No one ever goes to the movies because they are interested. Even better, the movie goers can't tell fantasy from fiction.

Wow. I hope you were kidding with that statement. That one is out there.

I do think there is a vast "herd" of people out there who do not pay attention to much of anything outside of what the latest Britney Spears song is doing. Of course most of those people do not vote. I think those people are unlikely to listen to talk radio but they are likely to wander into a movie. I think the latest Moore movie is unlikely to have this effect but given it success I can see other movies that are more subtle coming out. Imagine this movie but with car chases and aliens to draw more people in.

Thelt, you haven't seen the movie but you are railing against it. Do you want ban it? Remove it from theaters? What do you want?

I'm all for that fat bastard spreading his progaganda. It's his right as an American. It's also my right to keep my 7.50 out of his pockets and in mine. I've had it with Moore. I don't have to see his movie to understand his agenda. He's stated it many times. I do agree that it can influence the less engaged portions of the citizenry.

Just like another fat bastard, huh? :laugh1:

Seriously, Moore is just the anti-Rush. I don't see any difference except one's left, one's right. Both are extremists, and both with one agenda - fill their own pockets with money. Both are (or were) good at that.

Yeah, Rush has that right too...I'm not a big fan of Rush but atleast he does profess to love his country...Unlike that pig Moore who goes overseas and kisses every french ass he can...All the while bashing the good ole USA at every turn.
