    The Uncle Tom comments were just plain offensive. It is sad that so many in the black community continue to propogate that type of thinking. As much as I hate dook, they have certainly recruited low income kids - and many of them have graduated with degrees that are worth a lot of money. Hell, the lacrosse program is built on that whole business plan. So is UNC's, Princeton's, Brown's, and just about everyone else's other than the service acadamies.

    Did any of the fab five win an NBA championship? If so it must have been as a role player.

    I don't know. They never even won the big 10 tourney title, their own conference championship. Have they beaten Duke ever since 1991? Not that I can remember.

    Only thing they have to show for anything is those shorts. I'll give them that, because when I look back at the "short shorts" before that, they looked pretty ridiculous.

    I disagree with that. They were not even the best team in the country during the years they were together. How can a team that never won a championship be considered one of the best teams ever? One of the most hyped college teams to play the game maybe.

    I'm cool with that. Best freshman ever assembled at one time on one team? That's pretty much what "Fab 5" referrenced.
