I've played just about every FPS that has hit shelves, and some that have not. Even those games like Silent Hill, and the stupid one with the photographs Silent Frame or :wtf23: -ever it is, that is supposed to be "scary." I have never really gotten spooked at a game before.

The first one to come close was Doom3, because of the lighting effects of the flashlight and how shit would jump out at you. But that really wasnt that big of a deal. More or less just a startle, not really a "scare."

Gentlemen, that has now changed. For the first time in my life, I had the hairs stand up on the back of my neck and chills run through me with suspense while playing a game.

This game should definitely get some awards. It's a great FPS shooter with a killer story line and a great weapons selection. I have not gotten to the MultiPlayer element just yet, but will once Ive gone through the Single Player campaign.

So many good games out now, I just dont know which one to play. But for what it's worth, I'll finish playing this one before I even touch Quake4, AOE3, or Dungeon Siege 2 again.

Here's a decent trailer, but doesnt tell you much about the story. Let me see what I can dig up.

I have been debating whether to pick this game up. I just finished Republic Commando, and am working through Battlefront 2 now. This will probably be next.

Quite a bit further along in the game now and just....WOW.

Quite possibly the best storylined-FPS I have ever played.

If you get it, and have a DVD-ROM drive, get the DVD version Director's Cut. Lots of cool vids and add-on type stuff as well as only having to tote around one disc instead of three. :woot:

Anytime I'm playing a game and walk into a room and hear the bad guys yell,

    "KILL THAT MOTHER FUCKER!"

I know I've bought a good, fun game. :satana:

    Just finished it.

Definitely a must own. The climax scenes at the end gave me chills Ive never experienced from a video game before.
