You won't get one. Hiring John Fox pumped energy into the franchise. Can't you feel the ripples all the way down in Tampa?

Winning pumps energy back into the franchise...not this move. It has yet to be determined if this move yields wins.

If we lose and he comes back in and wins for us, most people will say.... Good call John Fox, way to give Winky a wake up call.

If we win, we might not see him again (highly unlikely), but if we do win, most people will not give a shit and no one will be calling for him.

Looks like a win/win for Fox and company... Damn smart move!

Oh and if we lose after Winky comes back in, nobody really has any Merit to say Winky would have won had we not benched him... his record in the NFL would be supporting evidence here.

I have a feeling Peete will get a mysterious injury at some point, and Weinke will start anyway........and we will win.

Thats fine... but do you understand now, why Fox has nothing to lose by making this move? See above situations... ;)

Tell me exactly how many losses Weinke was personally responsible for last year? I didn't see him miss the tackle that allowed Ricky Williams to score at the end of the game Vs New Orleans last year. I didn't see him give up the long run Vs the 49ers in OT setting them up for the winning FG last year. Weinke didn't give up a 94 yd pass to Jamal Anderson for a TD. Weinke didn't give up a blocked punt for the Jets only TD in a 13-12 loss, Weinke didn't give up 345 yds rushing against the Rams. Weinke wasn't shredded for 277 yds passing by Alex Van Pelt. Weinke didn't give up 330 yds passing at New Orleans, Weinke didn't play one down of defense the last two games that the defense simply went through the motions.

We led at halftime in games at Atlanta and at New Orleans and at home against Green Bay, the Jets, and Washington. We were down a TD or less against San Francisco, Miami, and New Orleans.
Down 10 at the half against Atlanta here. Yet no one wants to focus on any part the defense had in last year's record since we drafted Peppers. Some one has to be to blame, I guess if Weinke would have played on defense, he'd have gotten a pass.

I'll give him the Redskins game, even though technically it was Heatherington that wasn't aware on the TD pick.

There were hundreds, almost. I can't honestly say with any conscience without attempting to put bias and politics in, that one player was responsible for 1-15. If one person bears responsibility it's the head coach, and y'all know I don't put that all on Seifert either.

Oh my God we really did give up almost 300 to Alex Van Pelt.
    Bledsoe should rock there.

Its quite simple; John Fox is playing the bad coach (aka the hardass). He's basically letting everybody know that if they don't play better, he's going to sit them down. This is suppose to shake up the team and get them to play better 'for their jobs' sake . . I hope Ray Lewis doesn't pummel Mr. Holly Robinson to bad this Sunday :( . . . . .
