If you were to invest in one piece of exercise equipment (stairstepper, treadmill, etc) what would it be? Why? Thanks.

I have a Club Weider 560, which is basically a mini power cage with a lat attachment. If I could do dips on it, It would be perfect.

I'd buy an elliptical cross trainer, but that's only because it's the only way I can get any productive cardio-vascular exercise. Right now, I need that more than weight/resistance training.

i would spend my money on a flat bench, a swiss ball and a set of Powerblocks .

these two items take up minimal space and with dumbells you can exercize every muscle in your body. you can cardio by walking or jogging.

might as welll just buy a new clothes rack for your closet. 99% of all home fitness equipment becomes expensive clothes racks.

I'd just look for bargain in the classified ads. you can buy all sorts of things cheap...things that have barely been used.

no doubt. Especially around March-April when people have finally resigned themselves that they aren't going through with their new years resolutions.

reading your other thread tells me that you have the powerstack so if you are looking to purchase I would go with what hasbeens said. The elliptical walker. There needs to be some component of cardio in the workout and IMO the ellip. is the best low impact/high results machine for this. Would be quite a boon to you and Mrs. Trax. One thing, however, is try the machine before purchase. Some people really do not like the elliptical motion of said machine.
