    Thoughts? Feelings?

For me, it has been 12 years, since the days of Dante Clabria, Donald Phelps, Montross and the 1993 brought it to the 'Hill when I was 10, now Im 22, and this National Title seems to be more special, not sure what it is...but this feels awesome.

I'm a dookie, but this board is open to anyone. I was 15 when Duke won it all in 91, 16 when we went back-to-back, and 25 when we won it in 2001. 1991 was the most special, due to the unbelievable win over "unbeatable" UNLV, and also because it was my father's first championship. 1992 was unforgettable due to the UK game. I have to agree though, I appreciated 2001 the most, because by then I knew that "my" team couldn't win it every year. I think age makes them sweeter, so congrats UNC fans. After seeing Duke come back after the pitiful 95 season to win in 2001, Duke fans can understand UNC fans joy more than just about any group of fans in the country.

From 8-20 to National Champs is a hell of a run.

Hopefully Duke fans can at least appreciate the feelings of these TarHeel fans.

I didn't post here a lot this basketball season due to some personal problems, but I do read the board a lot, and while I can't say I'm happy for UNC, I understand their joy.

Hey, here's a good stat for you Big East fans. We've got 3 of the last five NCs! GO ACC!

And UNC fans, enjoy it. You guys know as good as I do that these things are rare. Don't let anyone spoil it for you :)

This is much more special of a championship for a lot of reasons to me. in 93 we won the game but it wasnt decisive like last night. Also all year long it has clearly been Illinoise and Carloina in that order. For both teams to survive to face each other was just awsome and then for Carolina to be able to play their game and win was hard to describe.

When Carolina lost in the ACC the reporters talked about how they went back and had some good back to the basics practices but in my mind I was wondering if the team really had it or was the chemistry messed up with the return of McCants. Well all the speculation is over now and Roy has done it!
