    Personally I think they have gotten stale as well. But every few years they pull out a "crazy speedo guy" and that keeps everyone watching.

    gonna be tough to top that one.

    I heard Carmichael was way better than the Dean Dome by a bunch of my friend's parents who went to school there back in the 60's. I always thought Reynolds was a really good place to play. The court looked a little different too.

    No doubt the smaller confines made for a better home court advantage. Unfortunately, money talks.

    I saw every home game at Carmichael from 1968 until the Dean Dome opened. I remember when they went from ~8000 seats to 10k (took out the arm rest) Carmichael was LIGHT years better as far as a home court advantage. Had they only left one side of the court for the students it could have come close

    I've seen Phish at Reynold's, I don't remember anything, except for that cover of La Grange, and fucking my girlfriend afterwards! So, you're right, it is a good place to play.
