He runs a shit ton of this 5-1 nickle, which might as well be considered our new base defense.

#49 for Denver is used similar to our #49. He'll be an off ball LB in their 3-4 and 2-4 sets, but will shift into a 9 technique in this 5-1 set.

Chinn will probably be the nickle in this package.

The chiefs offense is a beautiful thing. I was mesmerized by it
The donkos might as well have been in prevent in the 1st quarter, and later in the 2nd when they tried bringing more pressure Mahomes just had a blitz beater or created some shit. Was amazed how quickly the ball gets to the intended target. .. and how Mahomes is never sacked.
Can our staff just steal the chiefs offense please. )

We got sloppy seconds on chiefs OCs cause when Peterson was available rhule told us he was sure we'd win the Alamo bowl this year. Also cause bienemy is a product of mahomes but Reich is NOT a product of a historically lucky nick foles hot streak.

I've been thinking, why worry about our D when it was (and still should be) carolina's strength. Where this team has absolutely SUCKED has been on offense. I look at the chiefs "hot knife thru butter" offense and wish the panthers could do some of that. Why haven't we been able to??? Because we haven't had a scheme that has had a high probability of advancing the ball . .. And whenever we have had plays that have had a high probability of success we have not had a "fast processing" QB like a Mahomes who makes good FAST decisions and precise throws . .. And even when the panther QB's decision is the eight one and the ball goes to the right target it either does not get there fast enough or it is off target.
I'm beginning to understand why our new staff wanted Young so badly. .. Young has all that shit that we have lacked at QB. It does not matter if he's a midget if he finds the right target and accurately gets the ball there before a pass rush gets close to touching his midget ass.

Barring secondary injuries I considered last year's D as a strength as well.
I'll reserve judgement until after a few games before I crown it a strength under the new coaching staff. It all looks great on paper, but I need to see some slobber knocking before I hand the keys over to the success mobile.
The same goes for Bryce. I want to see how he does in a few real games first before I give him his own set of keys to the gnome-mobile.

B&B, kinda tried to Hijack your thread but watching that damn chief offense was sobering, and since the broncos were not stopping them i can't see how we would. Just switched gears to looking forward to the possibility in the future of winning some shootouts (probably not vs KC though) with a better offense
