not true. you have to get through the openign credits and actually to the point to where cage's friend gives him the card from the agency saying that clementine erased him -- just right before that. that's when i said, OK -- this is getting interesting.

it's a LONG way into it, but i stuck it out. i knew nothing about this movie before renting it (not even that kaufman did it) -- all i knew is that people said carrey was great in it. in the beginning, i was wondering when it was supposed to get good.

most everyone likes it, but that's not to say that you can't.

 

With all the hype, I was disappointed. I liked that it was an original theme, but I didnt buy into the point.
People meet
They make each other miserable
They erase all memories
They meet again
They know they already made each other miserable, and decide to do it again

I did think it was cool that they met again in the same place. Im not usually one for tidy happy endings, but if it ended there I think I would have prefered it

I actually saw this last night..pretty good movie. Now i need to go buy it on DVD.
