I like hair metal. I always liked Winger. I know they get a bad rap as a cutesy girly band but they were actually very good musically. I think Kip Winger marketing himself on his looks caused a lot of the bad press. He actually worked his way up as a member of Alice Cooper's band and earned what success he got. I keep hoping they will make a come back but I do not think they will. He has an eclectic solo career now and does not seem committed to the band. Their lead guitarist has toured with other bands including Dokken.

Dylan is a great song writer, no doubt, but he is not a good singer IMHO. I would much rather listen to someone cover on of his songs than listen to him.

Fav greatest hits album.....Velvet Underground The Music and Voice of Lou Reed.

Dylan isn't a grat singer, but he has a unique voice. Or had. I liked his voice.

Dylan's uniqueness to me is what makes him great. His voice sounds different on different songs. If you've ever hear "One More Night" or "I Want You", it sounds more baritone(I think that's the word I want) than it does on many other songs where it sounds more nasal. But I like his voice on all his songs. I know lots of people who can't stand Dylan, but he'll always be one of my faves.

I saw Dylan in the early 90's. I couldn't understand a word he sang that night. Might have just been the party favors tho.

His "unique" voice fell part a few years back. It may have been all the party favors HE did...

He was good with the Travelling Wilbury's though

I just saw him in Charlotte at the Cityfest year before last and he was great. Might have been all those party favors though. :)
