yeah sandy, because spewing pure speculative bullshit is a real mature thing to do. Just because you SAW weinke pout on the sidelines doesn't mean you know anything more about the team then the rest of us.

and until that point, if you're in fact correct, you're just talking baseless misinformation as always. There are points laid out that suggest otherwise given the same team, the same amount of playing time, what you're saying is unequivocably untrue. But don't let that stop you, being results driven and all.

You know, I'd sure like for our defense to get the attitude like Tampa Bay's defense. They KNOW they gotta win the game, so they go out there attacking for 60 fuckin minutes. Not 57. Not 58. 60 fuckin minutes of asskickin. Thats what our defense needs. It's plain that the offense doesn't have the talent. Not a damn thing anyone can do about that till the offseason. People can bitch about, "Oh they need to put in Fasani", or "Oh they need to dig up Sammy Baugh and sign him to a deal," but it ain't gonna amount to a hill o beans until we get an infusion of talent all around. Until that happens, the defense has got to win ballgames for us. We only got one turnover today. A couple more of those, and we might be able to tack up 10 -14 more points. We have to stop allowing teams to dictate to us at the end of games. We have to do these things on defense because the offense ain't gonna score much. Hell, there are some college teams with more talent on offense than we have. Once our defense realizes this, as Tampa's has, I think we will start winning more ballgames.

Don't you ever get tired of being wrong?

Granted, your not always wrong, but damn, did you not see people dropping balls in critical situations?
Did you fail to notice that our Offense stopped trying to get first downs and became more geared toward taking a few minutes of the clock and getting our D back on the field so we could play "Prevent...us from Winning" Defense.
Do you understand how important it is to have that go for the throat mentality when you have a lead.

This is SOOOOOOO much bigger than Chris Weinke. The same has happened with Peete in two consecutive weeks. It's a flaw in philosophy that has caused this team to lose three straight.
Expecting your Defense to win games and your offense to not lose them is an 8-8 philosophy. The trigger man isn't so much the problem, you can't get in a kill shot when you don't pul the trigger. Doesn't mattter who the trigger man is!
Peete's done it, Weinke's done it...what the hell would make you think that Fasani wouldn't too? It's the gameplan as much, if not more than, anything else!

I'm not sure what your problem is, but please direct me to the thread where I attacked a person before they attacked me. Guys, girls and transv... we (me) come here to talk about football not each other. If you don't like my opinion, be man enough to state your own... its all opinion, so its ok to be different.

sandy, i don't mind opinion, but you can't state your random observations as fact. How do you know players have lost respect? Hell, i'll state something along the same lines. I think Dan Morgan's favorite color is green. I have about as much insight to that as you do to what the players think of weinke.

simple. There's only a billion of them.

Here's a note to you. Someone telling you you're full of shit when you're lying is not an insult. Disagreeing with you is not an insult.

WYDD's point was well taken. You do not know what this team thinks of Chris Weinke and yet you're suggesting you do. He might not have been polite about it, but nobody's here to hold anybody else's hand and you've been complaining about people attacking you all day, when half of it was disagreement and nothing more.

Funny thing is, I see a lot of football points being brought out contrary to your opinion, and yet again you deflect.

If I didn't know better, I'd say its because you don't want to discuss football.
