ESPN SUCKS

I just got through watching the Top 10 college players (basketball) of all time. They had Laettner No.3 and Jordan No. 5. I can deal with that. But they had no David Thompson. Most people here know I hate State, but you have to give the Devil his due. Thompson was the best player in ACC history. He should have ranked 2nd behind Alcindor. For him not to be on the list was pure insanity.

 

all these rankings are for the last 25 years.

Thompson played before that.

 

If they had Alcindor ranked number one it would have had to have been of all time. He played before David Thompson did.

 

my bad then - all these silly top 25 shows have been the top 25 in the last 25 since ESPN is doing the whole anniversary thing.

 

Bill Walton was ranked 2nd behind Alcindor, then Laettner, Maravich, Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Bill Russell, 8th was Magic, 9th was Bird and 10th was Ewing. For Wilt or DT not to be on this list shows how fucking stupid ESPN is.

 

You can certainly argue that Walton could be number 2, but Thompson has to be in your top 3 somewhere - no question.

 

Where's Jerry West? Gotta pimp the homeboy.
