    They didn't, but Michigan had called one to stop the clock at 30 seconds. UM still had one more, but at minimum you could have gotten them to burn that. At best you could have run between the hashes to make the kick easier, then spike the clock once a fair amount of time had run off. It would still only be third down, so even if you bungled the snap you could spike it and try again.

    It was a dumb, dumb move that would have gotten Moore ripped to absolute shreds by the national media if they hadn't blocked that field goal. For that matter, why weren't they in a prevent defense for that last Michigan pass?

    If the RS freshman center, replacing a senior all-american, had a bad snap the game would have been over. He had been snapping it high all day.

    and im glad he went to LR. he'll turn things around for the Bears. i hope they dont get anybody hurt this weekend tho.

    What will happen if App is still high on the win and loses to LR this weekend?


    My dad and I discussed this... he said no way in hell LR can pull the upset. I told him that's what everyone said about Michigan.

    With Ohio State's performance today against the Akron Zip's, Herbstreit better count his blessings that Ohio State wasn't playing Appalachian State today or lightning may have struck twice in two weeks.
