It has really become a fucking joke. Insider show at 10 spent half the time talking about their damn fantasy line ups. Countdown had the bitch who drew Tom Brady's court pictures on in the first half hour of fucking opening day.

Never thought I'd rather be watching Michael Irvin's dumbass on NFL network. Who signs off on this bullshit? And who the fuck wants to watch that bullshit? Talk about the motherfucking games you damn idiots.

 

Do what I do: Don't watch it.

I know and I barely pay attention to the pregames anymore. Hell half the season I'm at the stadium.

But still opening fucking day and the Pats have already played. I pretty much only watch live sports on ESPN now. I couldn't tell you the last time I watched sportscenter and that's a shame considering how awesome it was back in the 90s.

 

They're still doing it. I've been around Matthew Berry. He's one of those schmoozy guys who is completely fake but people generally respond positively to him. That said, he knows little about fantasy sports. He has people who work for him that know things, but he's on ESPN because he had connections with TV people from his mostly unsuccessful career as a script writer.

 

I take it to a pretty extreme level. I'll usually watch the game with the volume down if we have a shit crew, which I'm sure we will today. I'd rather crank up some music than listen to some punch drunk ex-jock mispronouncing everyone's name.

 

Hahaha I usually end up with the sound off somewhere in the 3rd quarter myself.

 

I actually like our radio team (Rosinski can go eat a bloody AIDS dick) but the lag makes it awkward to listen to while watching a game.

 

I'm not fun to watch a game with unless you honestly love football.

 

I wish there was a show with some serious handicappers discussing the odds instead of cheesy radio touts and lame network bs
