ESPN insider says Felton to declare...

yeah - I was pretty sure he was gone.

Three years out of him and McCants is pretty damn good this day and age considering there was talk that Felton may go NBA right out of high school and many thought McCants would go after each of his first two years.

Felton's game wasn't ready to go NBA until now anyway. McCants is going at the right time too - while I think his game could use more work he probably won't be able to keep his shit straight for another entire season which would only hurt his draft status.

May will probably stay - Marvin Williams, who knows? I think he should stay at least one more year but I have a feeling he is gone too.

If Marvin comes back UNC will suck much less than without him. No decent point guard will hurt ( fuck you pothead Curry) but a frontline of May, Williams and Hansbrough would be pretty damn tough. Roy will definitely have to slow it the hell down and play half-court sets next year

 

^ Yeah...it would have been great for '05 if Curry could have stayed out of trouble-why can't kids leave drugs,especially pot, alone-anyway UNC will still be tough next year. Thomas will be fine at the point- he just needs more time....and he'll get plenty of that...GO HEELS!!!!!!

UNC doesn't admit felons. And technically, he delt drugs.

Not saying I really have issues with him smoking the stuff, he just should have been smarter.

 

UNC point guards left if Felton really does leave:

Quentin Thomas: has no shot, no ability to run the offense, not so great ball handling
Wes Miller: basically a talented walk on, can nail the wide open three, thats about it
Bobby Frasor: solid freshman, much more of a two guard though
Marcus Ginyard: tried to play some pg in high school, but is much more successful playing on the wing and focusing on defense
