Eric Reid staying around

The team reporters are gonna do what they do—provide no critical analysis. The supposed objective beat reporters sucking Reid off at every turn is rather disgusting.

Eric has precisely the personality type that requires a great deal of emotional massaging to get any viable response.

 

Trying to stay positive here, I think a full offseason of preparation in the system will help him improve. All the coaches rave about him, so I’m willing to put some stock in that.

It’s unfortunate that he kneels during the anthem, but I’m tired of having a 2016 debate over this. Just perform and make plays.

But, yea, the media needs to quit hero worshiping the guy. It’s OK not to bash him every five seconds, but anointing him as some sort of icon is a bit much.

 

I'm not upset about this yet, Hurney doesn't make these decisions in a vacuum. There must be something the coaches really like about him to justify that contract. Unless Tepper just wants to make a SJW-ish statement, in which case none of us will likely be fans a few years from now as the Panthers turn into the Cleveland Browns South.

I'll buy my tickets again, and see how it works out.
