Lets stop talking about the negative stuff. Lets talk free agent moves. My Phillies signed Jon Lieber to replace Millwood and/or Milton. Lieber was a stud with the Cubs then messed up his elbow only then to come back and pitch relatively well with the Yanks. We'll see. Yankees signed Jaret (sp) Wright getting younger and cheaper

It is probably more important to your favorite team that they get the best supplier....

I don't think that's fair or accurate, but that's what baseball has to expect. Most players, even most good players like Damon, Jeter, Beltran, I don't think they are juicing, cause they aren't that big. I can believe big stats when its not accompanied by going from 200 to 240 in an offseason.

    preach it, rosenthal

    Off soapbox.

Cubs got their middle infield set with Gariapara and Walker. I think they are looking for a taker for Sammy so they can sign Beltran. That would set them up bigtime.

That really is true. If Willie came out and said he was disappointed in Bonds, that would be a HUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE story. And the fact is, that if he really does love him as much as he says and if he really wanted to be a good Godfather - that is exactly what he would do.

Braves talking a trade with the A's Marcus Giles for Tim Hudson. DAMN! Hudson is a stud pitcher already. Put him with Mazzone :teeth:
