    didn't catch it when it came out in theaters, in part because of the horrible reviews it was getting. watched it on TNT last night and it wasn't bad. Not great, but entertaining. Certainly not as bad as the critics indicated.

    Yeah, I noticed that too. And Nazi Ed Harris had no accent at all.

    Not a bad movie, but I have a hunch the book is tons better.

    I liked it, too, except it seemed the Nazi guy was too good early and then awful at the end.

    I had read or learned somewhere that the Russians used to shoot at their own men to keep them on the front, but to see it enacted was disturbing.

    doesn't take much to beat out those shows. it's a good movie though.

    I know, I saw it. The Nazi dude must have had to take a piss at the end. I hate movies that end stupid.
