I would not mind having E but I'd hate to know we emptied the bank and or draft picks for him... that would be bad.

Sorry but I am not interested in a runningback that is way past his prime. At best I would give a 6th rd pick

No to a trade. If they don't want him, they'll cut him.

    no... no... no...

I'd take his as RBs coach if Skipper leaves, but we DON'T need another player past his prime if we're trying to build on youth... reminds me WAY WAY too much of the Reggie White situation.

Emmitt could get 1000-1200 yards in our offense and give DeShaun another year to fully heal without having to carry the load this season. What better mentor/leader could we get for Foster?

BTW- Emmit is only 1 year older than Lamar Smith and is still better than alot of starting running backs in the league that are younger.

If the price is right I would love to have him for 2 seasons.

you're kidding right?? you're trying to tell me that a guy that has chronic quad problems is close to 30 and is playing behind OUR offensive line could gain 1200... youve gotta be joking because that's hilarious
