    Is a bad ass.

Vs the Lakers, 13-24 - 32 points, 1 steal (from Kobe no less), 11 boards, 4 blocks, 3 assists. Really, really impressive performance. He's more of a force defensively than Duncan or Garnett.

I hate the Lakers. People around here treat Kobe like a God. But Brand was the best player on the court yesterday.

    Dukies should be proud!

Hell, considering he missed most of his freshman year, he was there just over a year total.

He's having an amazing year, couldn't be happier for the guy. He is poised to be the greatest NBA dookie ever, but so was Johnny Dawkins before he fucked his knees up. I'll hold off on that title for a few more years.

    Johnny Dawkins, can you read?

Johnny should have been a hell of a lot better than he was, but it was still good enough to be the all-time NBA Dookie.

If you look at Laettner's stats back in the 90's he's actually had a pretty solid and long pro career. Sure he sucks now, but he's also over 35, but he was a pretty good player when he played for the Hawks.

Laettner had better years than people remembered, even made an All Star team as a coach's selection once.

Yes sir, I can read. And, here's what I read:

"He is poised to be the greatest NBA dookie ever, but so was Johnny Dawkins before he fucked his knees up."

I took that to mean that Dawkins was on his way to becoming the best dookie ever but fucked up his knees. Silly me.
