some team will jump on him based on name alone, increases the odds of Palmer or Leftwich falling a slot or two. After the other night, do you really want Ragone? Overall Manning's a decent QB and is better than what we have now.

tall, sees the field well, good arm. He's not ready, but he's the type guy you sit anyway. He's not the first or second choice, but I wouldn't necessarily turn him down.

He's really inconsistent Larry - or at least he was this year. If he declares, he's nuts. You don't want him. At least not right now.

I think Ragone is one of those classic "shoulda come out last year" cases. You lose 4 OL and you are never going to have as good of a year as the previous year. And yes he did look like shit the other night.

I saw both Ragone and Manning this year. I thought Manning looked like a good player on a bad team. I know he looked better last year when he had better talent around him. I thought Ragone looked just plain bad. I'd be very happy to see Eli Manning in a Panther's uniform.

I am not as impressed with Manning as most, but I do beleive given a few years in a system, he can develop into a very good QB.
He isn't ready to be a starter now, I think Leftwich and Palmer are the only ones that are anywhere near there.

  10. People need to stop bashing on Ragone. See right there in the quote by kshead he states why Ragone is having such an awful year, not because he's bad but because he has no offensive line anymore and his WR's are bad as well. So, Ragone does have the skills to become a good QB if he's given enough weapons.

Also, I like Manning. Maybe more for his name than anything else but he has looked very good in certain games this year and not so great in others, I'd take the chance on him. If he's anything like Archie or Peyton he'd be a still at where he'll be taken.

Also, I like Kyle Boller of California. If we don't get a QB in the first what would everyone think about getting him in the second?
