Thanks. We started that last night. It pretty much pissed her off but the medicine we gave her knocked her out shortly thereafter. She was still asleep when I left for work this morning.

She rubs her eyes a lot. What is safe to use around this region? I know not to use cortizone but is anything safe?

Hydrocortisone WILL depigment the skin, but it is not permanent. However, most parents dont want their kids with a bunch of white patches on their cheeks even temporarily. 1% hydrocortisone is ok for up to a week, but I would avoid prolonged use.

Whats makin her sleepy, Atarax? Shit works...

Only if the other stuff doesn't work, or its an older kid that you know is going to have long standing eczema, unlike infant eczema which mostly goes away.

I just call it super benedryl cause I'm not sure of the name. It was prescribed though. I think I screwed up last night and gave her a warm bath. Evidently it's supposed to be a cool bath because she woke up worse this morning.

Actually, it's called hydroxyzine. Anyone ever heard of it? I bought some Eucerine today and will see how that works. Thanks for all the advice.

Atarax is the trade name for hydroxyzine. Good luck!
