:applause: I have known the Bryant Family for the past fifteen years. Watching Ed and Kari's kids grow up has been a thrill for myself and my family. The events that took place recently at East Meck were beyond explaining. All I know, is that Ed's spirit was with his family and friends that night. Especially with his son Taylor (Tate). Not only did Tate hit a tremendous Home Run, but people have failed to mention, that he also had a line drive single down the third base line with his first at bat. Tate was also catching this game, and proceeds to pick off a runner at first base. Then the improbable win. I don't know about anyone else, but I got chills down my back after this game. Ed Bryant is gone, but believe me, his spirit will live on for years to come, especially at his "Field of Dreams".
God's speed to Kari, Taylor, Kelsey and to all Ed's family and friends, you will be missed my friend.

Braves - thank you so much for writing this up, and for the other's (FalconDad in particular) for adding more to this wonderful story. I'm afraid that I'm not much of a sports chica, and rarely follow sports things - but this absolutely held me spellbound and I'm not too proud to admit that I wept like a baby when I read that Taylor hit the home run and won the game. Thank you so much for putting this thread down here. I would never have found it otherwise, and hope that other people read this and appreciate the thread as much as I have - cheers :).
