    BV,

Any idea what affect the Pitt over WV result will have on the BE rep?

A Pitt win and BC loss could put WV in the mix for the CTB. It is unlikely that WVU would still be available but it is the only way the CTB would have a shot at them.

The BCS bid, then the Gator and Insight pick before the CTB. Syracuse would have to beat BC and Pitt would have to take one of those slots for the CTB to have a shot at WVU. It is highly unlikely, mainly due to Pitt's poor showing at last year's CTB in regards to ticket sells, that one of the bowl's above Charlotte would take Pitt over WVU leaving the Mountaineers for the CTB. A UNC/WVU matchup would be darn close to a sellout at the very least, though.

    Thanks.

I'm guessing teh insight bowl would have to pass on ND for there to be any shot at bringing them to charlotte.

Va Tech and Miami leaving crippled the BE as far as bowl selections go, especially with them keeping the automatic BCS bid. Out of the 4 teams, 5 Cuse knocks off BC tomorrow, there is really only 1, WVU, that has a proven record of selling tix to any bowl.

UCONN would be making their first bowl appearance and have shown great enthusiasm for the chance to attend any bowl.

Your best bet on lower level tix is contacting the schools ticket office.

If Notre Dame could knock off USC (hahaha), ND would probably go the Gator. That would leave the Insight to pick between WVU, UConn or even Pittsburgh assuming BC gets BCS bid. None of those would travel out there and you could even argue that UConn/Pittsburgh would do better TV numbers (geography). A little politics with the Big East could then possibly get WVU in Charlotte. Very unlikely, but possible. If it did happen, all tickets would be gone within a day or two of the announcement. But if Gator takes WVU, Insight will definitely take ND. UConn is then best choice for Charlotte...
