    We should have taken a chance on a rookie in the last few drafts.....the thing that is so goddamn aggravating is that we haven't done shit because "Jake is good enough'...and now here we are without any decent options, and no options for the future of the franchise.

    You guys who wanna label us Jake-haters don't get it....we'd love to see Jake play like Joe Montana, but we gotta face reality. And when the "Jake is good enough' talk collossaly fails like his last 2 games...we realize we don't have any better options anywhere on the horizon.We're not just fucked this year if Jake keeps this up...we're fucked for a few more.

    Jake's career is over. He'll get one more shot next weekend, but he's not going to play well enough and we're going to lose, and that's going to be it. We'll limp along to 6 wins with Moore or McCown and try to fix it (with no 1st rounder) in the offseason.

    No surprise, they looked like shit all preseason just the same. All the qbs suck along with the OL.

    Is it really that hard to pick up a blitz? I mean seriously... It was like we'd never seen the blitz before. I know we dont believe in it, but newsflash, most of the rest of the league does.

    I would bitch about not running some more draws, but we were letting them come right up the gut. We were easier than a drunk prom queen.

    Eerie how this game resembled the meltdwon against the Cardinals last season. Panthers open the game by running the ball down the Eagles throat and then Jake gives the game away with turnovers.

    Delhomme isn't leading this team anywhere this season other than the toilet.

    sack, FF, FG block, 5 tackles. I'd say he earned his today.

    Davis did too. Fucking 16 tackles? Now if we could put 8 guys around those two and Beason we'll be in business. I guess Gamble didn't get his ass handed to him so I should think that's a positive too.

    Games like this always remind me of the Titan's game in Charlotte in 2003. The one where Goings got knocked out and we just looked horrible and lost 37-17.
