    I went to The Eagle concert Wednesday night in Charlotte. It's was a good show but it sure was different from the early days. I saw them for the first time in 1975 as a teenager. They were on top of the world at the time and pretty much rocked. Now they come out wearing coats and ties but I thought it was great. Joe Walsh still has a lot of energy but the rest have taken on the status of elder statesmen which they have earned. Good show, brought back a lot of memories. Henly still can chill you with that voice at times.

    Did they cause the plane crash? I thought they were in NY?

    They played for about 3 hours with a break of 15 minutes.

    I thought the show was fine. They can still sing and Joe Walsh whips ass, but they could have tripled their volume. Wearing suits to perform is gay.

    My wife and I commented on the volume as well, first time I've ever been to a concert that wasn't loud enough. I liked the suits, gave them something of a worldly aura.
