    They did the same thing with nascar. EA sports bought the rights to nascar because sierra games put out the best racing simulation game ever. I think its from 2003 and is still the staple of online pc racing. Ive never heard of one person who uses that crap ass racing game EA sports puts out. EA sportts sucks ass and I'll continue to never pay for their crap ass games.

    no, it's not a monopoly. Sega and 989 and anyone else can still physically make football games, just not NFL games. I'm not jealous of EA. I just dont like their Madden game. I wouldn't buy it before, and now they are trying to shove it down my throat with an exclusive license with the nfl.

    My favorite NFL game is not madden. I don't see this as jealousy, but rather the free market system. I don't want one thing, I prefer another. Just because they are the sole NFL game on the market doesnt mean I'll have to buy their shit..another great feature of the free market system.

    I dont really give a damn about playing ESPN 2k5 for 5 or more years. After all, isnt that what madden fans have been doing?
