    Well, their NCAA game was always way better than the others anyway.

    that would be nice. I had to play Madden on PC this year since my xbox got focked up, and the one thing I miss most was importing draft classes from NCAA. I played NCAA 2004 about 90% more than Madden 2004, and I don't really even have a college team. Not to the extent I love the Panthers at least. I usually used Wake Forest because of the cool uniforms and the option offense is pretty damn fun.

    QCH is right, this is really a nonfactor, because they pretty much had the only NCAA football game anyway, and it is always better than madden anyway. I guess this slams the door on the companies that would have just changed their NFL game to NCAA though.

    I really don't care, because I always bought EA NCAA football anyway, and there was never another reasonable choice.

    As of now its unsure if there will be a PC version, because strangly it says EA has the rights to all the console games. PC is never mentioned. Odd.

    I just thought of something else. EA actually made a hell of a smart move here. With them already owning the NFL rights you'd think Sony, Sega, and whoever else would look for another football alternative. They got the AFL, so that's not available, and now they have the NCAA. So they will be the only group putting ANY type of football game on the market this year.

    not true...

    midway is releasing blitz this year with a playmakers style license. Fake league, fake players. They get arrested, you can give them steroids and break laws and shit. I doubt an unlicensed game has a chance except for a schtick like this now. EA's new motto should be "All your football is belong to us."

    They knew what they were doing. They bought every feasible license someone could throw on a football game. They were the only company making NCAA games because they already owned the rights to the BCS bowls since back in 2002. It was a cheaper deal I guess at the time. EA doesnt give a shit about arena football either, or they would have made a game for it years ago. Now a company has to go unlicensed or throw som USFL or XFL shit on the game which wouldnt help at all.
