hyperbole much? the difference between 33% and 38% for 3pt shooting isn't that massive. not for somebody whose role isn't to stand around and shoot 3's. 33% is not great, but it's not "horrid".

oh good lord. classic collin. take something ambiguous and completely ignore the surrounding statements in order to interpret it in a way that fits your argument. sentence prior to that one -- talking about accuracy. sentence after that one, taking about accuracy. sentence after that one, taking about accuracy. sentence after that, again talking about accuracy. i was talking about accuracy. you took it to mean "put up a lot of 3's" as opposed of course to "make a lot of 3's" or "are good 3pt shooters".

not just bad, "horrid". michael jordan was a "horrid" 3pt shooter, yeah? being last in the list of people who qualify for the list of best shooters does not mean you're the worst shooter. in order to qualify for that list you have to make 55 shots in the season. that self-selects for people who are given the greenlight to shoot a decent number of 3's, players who get a good # of minutes, and players who actually can hit a 3 when they put it up.

bryant is not a great 3pt shooter. for his role and how he gets those shots up, he's okay.

wow, you mean there are highlights of jordan dunking or making circus shots? i guess that's all he did huh? i can find some youtubes of jordan scorching the blazers(?) with a 3pt barrage. guess that makes him a 3pt marksman. hell, according to youtube jordan never missed a shot in his life.

i guess a youtube mix of jordan hitting pullups or fade aways isn't nearly as interesting.
