DVD Ripping/Burning

    If the DVD is all scratched up, good luck.
    And it may vary depending on your DVD reader how well it can handle errors. I've seen that kind of error, then I cleaned the DVD and re-read it without problems (cleaned by wiping on my shirt, nothing fancy).

    Just curious but can you clean the laser tip that does the reading?

    All he needs is a disc that hasn't been used as a frisbee. FYI: all of those settings in the guide are the defaults...thanks for the wasted time.

    I will try again tomorrow night on a DVD I own that has only been watched maybe twice and is in excellent shape. Thanks guys

    pretty cool, I put Nemo on the laptop yesterday...I'm going to put a few on for the road trip coming up so we don't have to juggle DVD's around in the van...

    Now what exactly am I looking for to shrink it down by deleting files I don't need? It's like a 7 1/2 gig folder
