shoot baby elephant between the eyes with 30-06.

remove big floppy ears and set aside.

place elephant corpse in large vat of boiling water to loosen gray leathery skin. remove after 30 minutes, let cool. Use sharp knife to cut hide around neck, thighs and asshole and then make incision down belly. Using vice grips, remove the skin. Using chainsaw, cut off head and legs and discard. Remove meet with axe and cut into two-inch cubes. Save eight cups and throw the rest away.

Place cubes of meat in large pot with two large chopped onions, three cups of celery, two gallon of chicken stock, four cups of rice and a pinch or five of salt, pepper and chili powder. Bring to boil and lower heat to simmer. Cover.

Shave hair off elephant ears and cut them into Dorito sized triangles. In large fry pan, melt a stick of butter (or, as per SY's advice, a stick of bacon grease). drop triangular ear pices in a fry until they brown. Remove and place on paper towels to dry.

After Dumbo has simmered for two hours, remove from heat. ladle into bowls, garnish with parsley, sage, rosemary and thyme and serve with ear chips.

Crucial point here folks. USE THE BACON GREASE...it takes the next day shart-factor to a whole new level. :woohoo:
