    MLB and NBA no. I like to see players from Duke do good but I don't have a team and that includes the Bobcats.

    I pull for the Panthers because I live in Charlotte.

    Do you even live in Chapel Hill? Or are you a UNCC fan?

    Do you honestly think that Duke's coaches or players feel like you have special rights to say or feel whatever you want just because you went to school there? I promise that they could give a shit less what you think about what they do. They just know that ass-kissing former grads is a necessary evil. What they'd really rather have is for you to just give them their money and shut the hell up.

    And Coach K didn't go to Duke either. Does that mean you have more rights than he has?

    Coach K understands the value of Duke's 6th man and has made that abundantly clear in quote after quote. Roy has not.

    Your second statement was just stupid. K has been and employee and instructor at duke for over 20 years. If you are a cafeteria worker and UNC you too have the right to gloat.

    thats my point. your not a Panther, but you pull for them just because you live in Charlotte.
    If you live in NC that should be good enough to pull for the Tarheels.
    You are saying unless you went to the school you cant pull for them. thats fucking dumb.

    I'm not saying you can't pull for them. I'm saying I don't respect you for pulling for them. And that is not dumb. If you live in Chapel Hill, work for the school, or are an alumni, I am not talking about you.

    You wolfing about a team you arbitrarily decided to like is what is dumb. Sure you can be happy for them.

    So I guess that means you think a cafeteria worker at Duke has just as much right to an opinion concerning the Duke basketball program as you do.

    How much time have you spent working in an athletic department? Anywhere? High school, college, pro, etc? You've obviously never been a coach or you would understand what I was talking about.

    Yes, they have more than an arbitrary connection to the school.

    Enough time to understand you are wrong if you think all coaches feel like that. Roy obviously does though by his quotes.

    and I am happy as hell that they won. I never asked for respect for being a fan of the Tarheels. in fact I would never respect anybody just for going to a school. root for, pull for,yes but respect ...nope
