Sly, I am sorry to disappoint you but some of those calls were NOT fouls.

Yes I know refs can miss calls and normally you would think it would be both ways. Dook gets away with far more missed calls or calls in their favor than any team out there or at least in the ACC since those are the main games I watch. As I recall there was one foul that I noticed that was missed for Tech and 5 for dook. Thats not counting the phantom calls against Tech as well.

Of course I can understand you being blind to things like that since it is about your team. I know most all fans are that way, whether dook, UNC or the panthers even.

Swinging an elbow is not a foul unless it is flared. i trust the refs opinion on that way more than yours. When you hack and swing at a player like VT was doing all night you are going to get called, often you are going to get those calls even if you get all ball or miss completely.

Anyone see a patern? The games that were close were close in fouls or had duke commiting more. The games Duke won going away have those teams commiting more fouls, as one would expect.

 

LMAO Slyboy, how does that prove anything? Of course any team that is going to have a lot more fouls called against them is going to usually lose by a lot. So what are the totals for fouls againt dook vs. their opponents?

If it were just my opinion then I could maybe see your point. But when you have non UNC fans or unbiased fans/observers stating the same thing then somethings up. So you think refs are always unbiased whether it's their decision or not? The league will protect certain team more than others, it's just the way it is. It's like the NFL protecting QB's the way they do vs. other players, it's total BS.

Hey I can at least admit when UNC gets a break or two.

 

One day, when my program gets better, I too will complain about how the ACC favors the Carolina schools. Just not yet.

Selective memory. Sort of like those refs with selective calls.

I am sure some memo came from the league office, guys(refs) I am telling you now you better make sure dook doesn't lose 2 in a row at home.

 

Personally I think there is a reason. The media is stirring a controversy. You have them showing the replay of a missed call that favors Duke over and over and over again. But when there is an equally egregious call that favors the other team, its like a collective "Next play" "move along, nothing to see here". Of course, that is just my opinion about your opinion that everyone thinks Duke gets all the calls.
