    I'll be there. Anyone else?

Davidson is always a well coached team. Should be a good game. Don't think McKillop will be there much longer. Bigger names has been making overtures and I think he jumps soon.

He was in the running for St. John's but turned them down. He is from NY.

That must have been awkward. Matt was interviewing for that too.

Just read the official preview. Had no idea Davidson beat Missouri the other night. Led by 28 from coaches son Matt McKillop.

Also: Duke's bench contributed 20 points and 21 rebounds in 78 combined minutes vs. Tennessee-Martin Nov. 20

Not bad for a shallow bench.

I thought they looked pretty good against TM. I know they are not a powerhouse but then again neither is Santa Clara

I think McKillops been waiting for his kids to graduate HS before uprooting his family. His youngest is a Junior in HS this year.

But, he's been sucessful at Davidson for 15 years. There isn't the pressure at Davidson to "win at all costs". He may spend another 20 years there, just enjoying life and coaching kids.

Different dreams, different goals. If competing for a National Championship was one of them, I think he would have left years ago. He's very well respected in the coaching ranks.

I suspect most dont know this, but the greatest upset ever played in Charlotte was a December 1960 game between Davidson and Duke. Duke was ranked 1 or 2 and had 2 All Americans....Jeff Mullins and Art Heyman.
Davidson had Lefty, 1 senior and 4 sophomores. Final was 72-69, Davidson.
