it makes perfect sense - he's saying if UNC can keep it close till then end, they can pull it out.

Nope I'm thinking if UNC is gonna win over dook they need to have the lead with 5 mins left. Why would a young inexperienced team that doesn't have a ton of outside threats suddenly be able to make a last chance 5 minute run versus a seasoned rival?? That makes no sense. If UNC is to win they need to be ahead and hold off dook's last minute run.

They need Reddick to go cold and no one to step up. And to score more points before the final buzzer.:banginghe

The key for Duke is defense. Athletic forwards give them tons of trouble and UNC has two of them in Noel and Terry. That creates matchup problems especially with Melchionni's slow feet. If Duke plays good defense they will win because getting points this season hasn't been a problem. I think Noel will have a gigantic game. UNC has absolutely nothing to lose at all and all the pressure is on Duke which worries me some. I mean every UNC player wants to win this game more than any other game, and they don't have to be that nervous because if they win or even lose by less than 10 points everyone will be congratulating them on how well they played for a young team (even though UNC has 2 seniors and 2 juniors in their rotation, not counting Quentin Thomas as part of the rotation. he is like a 6th player on the court for Duke). At least UCONN won this week. Duke going into the Dean Dome with the number 1 ranking with everything to lose playing a UNC team that has absolutely nothing to lose might be the biggest jinx of all time.

Not this year. Our seniors have bigger aspirations than beating the Heels *again*

Not saying they aren't the most anticipated game on the schedule, it's just that Dook's biggest game hasn't been scheduled yet this year.

If this game is any thing like last year's game in the Dean Dome it'll be a good one.
