Oh and as just a jab... to all the people that say Redick was finally able to break at and score at the Dean Dome... the only reason that happened this time was sitting behind the UNC bench. Manual OWNED Redick.

 

He did have some good defensive plays, which turned into breakaways, but I'm sure someone will say that Carolina wasn't passing well.

 

Get used it it, you'll hear it for a long long time.

 

I think for that to happen you'd have to make the Final Four. No matter what seed UNC got, I can't see them in Duke's quarter of the bracket. Could this team jell like they did in 2000 coming out as an 8 seed to make the FF? It certainly wouldn't be the most surprising thing I've seen in college basketball. It will be hard for UNC to make the FF unless they can cut their turnovers down to about 15. I know they play at a blistering pace, but they threw away three or four bad passes that Duke converted into eight points. You can't get far in March giving away nearly 10 points without playing any defense or making the other team work hard.

 

great game to watch. I thought the Heels were going to get blown out in the second half,well they were. them going from 17 down to up by 4 has got to seriously boost their confidence for the rest of the year, not just vs Duke in Derm.

Redick , lights out in the second half. K must have said is this how you want to go out at the Dean Dome? clutch as hell down the stretch. every time he gets fouled, I just automatic count 2pts. he picked 3 passes for scores. and the 3's...I cant wait for him to get the hell out of Duke.

 

Up by five a couple of possessions later, before they started missing FTs and were then down seven, to cut it to 1 after a bucket. Crazy ending.
